history

Pajo's Fish and Chips all began in the summer of 1985 and was the brainchild of the founder, Patricia Branch. At thatpajo's on the wharf time she had a partner Joan, hence Pajo's [ pronounced Pãjos ]. Joan ceased to be a partner in 1991. Pajo's was originally attached to "A" wharf, floating in the Steveston Harbor mere meters from where it sits today. In 1988 the Port Moody store was built at the end of Burrard Inlet in Rocky Point Park. The new millennium brought another new location at Garry Point Park. The year 2007 brings yet another location at Gates Park in Port Coquitlam.
