Welcome back to our Pajo’s weekend events updates! As you all know, this week is Labor Day Long Weekend and on top of that, it’s the last weekend before schools start! So you’d better plan early for a fun family/friends outing and get yourself ready for the coming Fall!!

Steveston—the Wharf and Garry Point Park

Sports Swap Meet

On Saturday, this first ever Steveston’s sports swap meet will bring the sportsmen together and TADA… it’s time for a swap. Whether it’s a hocky pads, ballerina shoes or soccer cleats, there will always be something for everyone. If you are planning on selling, a table costs $13. For buyers, admission is free. Event will be hold at Steveston Community Centre. Doors open to the public at 10 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m.  For more information contact: Steveston Community Centre Phone: 604-238-8080.

2011 Annual Scotiabank &BC SPCA Paws for a Cause… Walk for the Animals

On Sunday 11th, it’s time to bring along your beloved pooch and come join us at beautiful Garry Point Park for a day of family fun at the Scotiabank and BC SPCA Paws for a Cause Walk. Once there, you will be able to enjoy fantastic entertainment and activities for all ages, visit local rescue group booths, pick up some great BC SPCA merchandise and win prizes, all in support of animals needing our help. On top of that, Pajo’s will be donating $1 for all large fish and chips order to BC SPCA too!  Registration begins at 1 pm walk begins at 2pm. Meet up at Garry Point Park for registration. Port Moody—Rocky Point Park

If anyone of you is planning on a quality picnic with your group of friends or family, Rocky Point Park will be a perfect spot for you this weekend. You can stroll along the beach, dance with the geese or see the beautiful sun set over Burrard inlet. And maybe get a delish Pajo’s fish and chips meal to tame your hunger down too! Port Coquitlam—Gates Park

Oh well, if you have a little bit more time, you can come and hang out at Gates Park in Port Coquitlam. Whether you are thinking of playing baseball, soccer, tennis or doing some fun run, the sports field is ready for you to use.
