All and Around September 3rd to 5th
Welcome back to our Pajo’s weekend events updates! As you all know, this week is Labor Day Long Weekend and on top of that, it’s the last weekend before schools start! So you’d better plan early for a fun family/friends outing and get yourself ready for the coming Fall!!
Let’s have a look below and see what will be happening at our locations in the near future.
Steveston—the Wharf and Garry Point Park
This week on Sunday the 4th, don’t miss the Famous Steveston Farmers and Artisan Market. Not only will you meet with a bunch of farmers and craft makers, you will also get a chance to support the locals and be part of Stevestonian community! Come visit the market at the corner of Third and Moncton Street and have a quick tour around for your favorite piece of art and fresh produce. The market opens from 10am to 4pm. Visit www.sfam.ca for more information.
Apart from that, don’t forget about “Fishing the West Coast” Exhibition at the Gulf of Georgia
Cannery. It features photographs of the West Coast fishing industry. Categorized under various subjects, the images span from artistic interpretation to realistic images of life on the water. You can also vote online for your favorite photo and help them pick the winner too! Exhibition will run till the end of November. For more information, click here or visit Gulf of Georgia Cannery.
Port Moody—Rocky Point Park
If anyone of you is planning on a quality picnic with your group of friends or family, Rocky Point Park will be a perfect spot for you
this weekend. You can stroll along the beach, dance with the geese or see the beautiful sun set over Burrard inlet. And maybe get a delish Pajo’s fish and chips meal to tame your hunger down too! Wonder where it is? Click here to see more.
Port Coquitlam—Gates Park
Oh well, if you have a little bit more time, you can come and hang out at Gates Park in Port Coquitlam. Whether you are thinking of playing baseball, soccer, tennis or doing some fun run, the sports field is ready for you to use. Come down and enjoy the sweat and finish the day off with our Fish and Chips is not such a bad idea after all! Not sure how to get there? Click here.
Well, and that’s it for our Labor Day long weekend. Hope you have some fun and enjoy your time under the sun! Don’t forget to drop by at our window, as you know our fish is missing you too much! Check out how to get to see them here.
Our story begins in 1985, where founder Patricia Branch and then business partner Joan concocted the idea behind Pajo's - a stand in Steveston's Wharf serving the finest fish and chips in the West.
